Sam, I just want to wish you the best of luck in life and your racing life. I work at Texas Motor Speedway during the races in the Indy Garage and consider it an honor to have become friends with all the crews, officals and drivers. When I first heard about your accident I cried and felt so sorry for you, however, once I saw you for the first time after your accident I realized how blessed you are. People may think I am crazy to say you are blessed but you know what I mean, your attitude could be used by so many of us that are not faced with the challeges you have. Once again, when I saw you that first time I cried because I was so overcomed with your joy, attitude, and fight to move forward. You may not remember who I am but a good friend of yours and mine re-introduced us in Pomona at the NHRA races, Charlie Patterson, last November. I consider it such an honor to know you and I wish you and your family the best in the world. I am so excited to see you active again in the IRL, I was excited as was Charlie when you told us in February at the NRHA races in Pomona that you were working on putting a team together for this season. God is there for you and he will continue to bless you, your family, and your racing family. My prayers will always be with you and I look forward to seeing you guys in Ft. Worth in June.
