Alex Tagliani on the Camping World Grand Prix Qualifying: “This type of result isn’t what we had hoped for today. It’s not good, but the positive is that we made improvements from yesterday and this morning and the team found some things that made more sense around this track. We feel the pain of not having tested here due to the rain because what we found late this morning we would have had coming in to the race weekend if we had gotten our test day completed.

Alex Tagliani on the Camping World Grand Prix Practice: “I don’t want to judge the results on today as we will be much better tomorrow. We were trying new things on the car and getting laps for me around the track to get to know it and to get an idea of what I want. Alex Tagliani on the Iowa Corn Indy 250: “Well, it was exactly what I was saying yesterday that the biggest challenge in today’s race was going to be getting the car consistent over the full run. We started the race consistent but as the runs went on the balance of the car went away and we picked up understeer. In the first stop we made a tire pressure adjustment and it helped for a while but then the balance would go away again.

Indy Car Racer Alex Tagliani and the FAZZT Race Team Communicate via Sennheiser |
Toronto, Canada, June 2010 - Sennheiser Canada announces its partnership with native Canadian, IndyCar driver Alex Tagliani and the FAZZT Race Team. Tagliani has racked up numerous wins in the Champ Car Series and is currently driving in the IZOD IndyCar Series where he sits 12th in the point standings. In 2009 he was named Rookie of the Year at the Indy 500 in 2009 for finishing 11th after starting in the 33rd position. Ironically, it was another rookie who may have robbed Tagliani of a win at this year's Indy 500 in 2010, after an unsportsmanlike block (the rookie was a lap behind) thwarted Tagliani's run at the leaders and almost sent him into the wall. Nevertheless, Tagliani recovered from 17th to finish 10th.
